Red lips and stripes

#HeyBoo

I hope you all had an amazing labor day weekend! Mine wasn’t too crazy relaxed with family and my babe. Got to BBQ and go in the pool and just all around laugh and have good times. I loved it! I love the low-key days because I am constantly on the go so to have a break, just chill out and get some errands done was awesome!

Now about this outfit you are about to experience. I recently went to Sephora and became obsessed with this lipstick that I saw was part of Urban Decay’s pulp fiction collection. I love the way this red looks it’s so sexy its like the perfect shade of red. I’m not the girl who wears a lot of makeup everyday, only when I go out. For work I stick to a simple foundation, bronzer, mascara and my EOS chapstick LOL!

Now this skirt that I found was a random day I walked into express, because well I walk into express all the time since I literally walk by it every single day on my way to work! It’s a blessing and a curse to work in fashion central! A blessing because I have a full-time position that pays the bills and a curse because it only feeds into my shopping addiction! Well, continuing with my random day walking into express I went in and of course they had to have sales and I found this skirt lying in the rack for $17 when it was originally $50. Definitely a steal and definitely led me to the register asap before I found something else that I shouldn’t purchase. LOL!

Stripes are always cute! I like that they are a simple pattern that can make any outfit stand out. I have seen girls wear their stripes and mix with other patterns and I must say it looks cute but I tend to stick to one pattern and a basic colored top or bottom depending where I wear the pattern. Maybe one day I will find the mix of patterns I like for myself and step out of the usual!
